Resit Schuurman (born 31 March 1979 in Deventer[1]) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for Go Ahead Eagles. He is a defensive midfielder renowned for coupling physical power with great technique.
Schuurman made his debut in the professional football squad of Go Ahead Eagles in the 1997–98 season. He also played for NEC Nijmegen and FC Twente before joining De Graafschap.
In July 2009, Schuurman signed with Heracles Almelo, after his former team, De Graafschap relegated to the Eerste Divisie. Schuurman said that "Heracles Almelo is a fantastic club with great fans, and I look forward to play for the team"[2]
